Tree Planting


On Monday, March 31, 2003, the ranges were closed for two hours while four members planted 100 Douglas Fir trees along the escarpment on the north side of the stream flowing across the ranges.  The trees, when they mature, will help attenuate the noise of gunfire from the range, and help stabilize the slope that is part of the impact area for the rifle range.  The volunteers were:  Isaac Doubrava, Kyle Russell, Jerrid Russell, and Howard Wurdinger.
