Sight-in Days, 2004

Tuesday, 28 September 2004

The club held its annual sight-in days on the last two weekends of September.  We had a total of 271 people who came to sight-in their rifles before the start of the hunting season, and they brought 336 rifles to the range.  The sighting in process is interesting - the chance to see new rifles; the opportunity to help people zero their rifles; the opportunity to instruct people in how to use their rifles; and sometimes the opportunity to fix their rifles and sights.  If you haven't done this before, and you think you have the skill and experience to help, please talk with Dahle Gubele to sign up for next year.

The following members provided the support during the four days.  There were over 268 person-hours of time donated over the four day period.  (An asterisk denotes a new member in 2004, while the numbers indicate on which days the person worked).
