CRGC is planning on holding a salmon derby on 24 August 2002.
The derby is open to anyone, but each boat must have
a CRGC club member. All fish must be caught the day of
the derby. You can start fishing any time that day.
Weigh-in will be at 3:00 PM at the 42nd Street ramp
off Marine Drive by the Portland airport.
The entry fee is $10.00 per rod. There will be prizes
for first through third place, and there will also be door prizes.
Anyone interested in participating can sign up at the clubhouse
any Tuesday evening, or at Millar's Hiway Tire on Highway 99E in
Canby during business hours. The rules can be obtained
at either sign-up location. All entries must be in by
Saturday, 17 August 2002. If you have questions you can
