CRGC is again going to sponsor a junior trap program this Spring. The program is open to those juniors less than 18 years old. The program consists of training in shotgun safety, shotgun fundamentals, and instruction in trap shooting. Shooting will be done under the supervision of trap instructors. The program starts at 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2005, and runs through Thursday, March 31, 2005.
There is no charge for the program. Participants are required to bring their own 12 or 20 gauge shotgun (or be able to share one), and be accompanied by an adult. The instruction will be free of charge, and the club will provide the targets and ammunition at no cost.
After a few weeks of practice, the juniors may participate in teams which will shoot in the 8 weeks of the Spring Trap League. There will be no charge for the junior teams in the Spring League.
