On 18 March 2007 Cliff Hill, a member of the board of directors and the chairman of the environmental stewardship committee, submitted his resignation from both positions, as he did not feel he had the time to fulfill the duties of the jobs. At its meeting on 19 March 2007, the board regretfully accepted his resignation, and hopes that in the future his circumstances have improved so that he can again contribute to the club.
Dan Stevens, who has previously served on the board of directors, and who is currently the trap chairman, was nominated to serve the remainder of Cliff's term as director. The board elected Dan with no dissenting votes.
