Saturday and Sunday, 12 and 13 July 2014
The Canby WRITA shoot for 2014 was held on Saturday and Sunday, July 12th and 13th. Saturday was sunny and hot while Sunday was much cooler, and overcast with intermittant rain. It was odd to have two such unlike days for the July shoot. There were more than 108 shooters who competed, and many of them arrived late Friday afternoon for an evening of shotgun games and practice.
The Newberg team placed first with a 474, while Canby's second place 468 barely edged out Hillsboro's third place finish at 467.
