Work Party #2, 2018

The fourth scheduled work party of 2018 was held with more volunteers than usual.  The tasks centered around preparation for sight-in days, and getting ready for Fall.  The weather was excellent, with the temperature in the low 70's.  Lunch was sandwiches and chips from the Thriftway deli.

The following were the tasks performed:

• Got bark dust and spread it around the clubhouse and other shrubery.
• Removed weeds grown on all tarps on the trap berm.
• Trimmed weeds and blackberries along the fence line west of the Forest Road.
• Removed the old concrete pad on trap 7 in preparation for a rebuild.
• Audited more FFL records for errors.
• Cleaned out and swept trap houses; restocked with targets.
• Raked wads and disposed of them.
• Picked up unbroken clay targets and put them on the manual trap table.
• Blew leaves from the clubhouse roof and eaves, and leaves and dirt from paved areas and sidewalks.
• nspect archery area, trim branches, and clean up west fince line from the river to the west 50-yard range.
• Repair target frames on the 100-yard line.
• Fill sand bags for the 50- and 100-yard ranges.
• Pick up spent cases on the 50- and 100-yard ranges.
• Cut and split more firewood.
