Work Party #2, 2018

The second scheduled work party of 2018 was held with a decent number of volunteers, and quite a bit of work was done.  The tasks were set to clean up the club and to prepare for winter weather.  The weather was reasonable - cool and partly sunny, with no rain until early afternoon, when only the stump grinders were effected.  Lunch was sandwiches and chips from the Thriftway deli.

The following were the tasks performed:

• Put up two sign posts on 13th Avenue.
• Picked up about 2000 lbs of lead shot.
• Put up new target frames on the 100 yard line.
• Audited FFL records for errors.
• Burned the slash pile in the old RV area.
• Cleaned out and swept trap houses; restocked with targets.
• Raked wads and disposed of them.
• Re-secured tires on the trap berm.
• Swept gravel off the driveway.
• Cut and split more firewood.
• Moved the remaining wood from the west side of the pavilion into the wood shed on the east side of the clubhouse.
• General cleanup and organization of the steel target building and the Eagle Scout plaque was hung in the steel target building.
