Work Party #4, 2017

The fourth work party of 2017 was postponed from 9/9/2017, when there was a schedule conflict with a rental, and was held on the morning of Saturday, 10/14/2017.  The tasks were set to clean up after the thunderstorm from a few days earlier, and to prepare for winter weather.  The weather, at least, was a nice Fall day - clear and cool, just right for working.  Lunch was sandwiches and chips from the Thriftway deli, and there was plenty to go around.

The following were the tasks performed:

• Leaf and branch cleanup.
• Blow crud off the clubhouse roof, and out of the gutters.
• Clean out and sweep trap houses; restock with birds.
• Move a few cords of wood from the pavilion to the covered area by the clubhouse.
• Blow leaves and dirt from trap pads and paved areas.
• Survey and repair target frames, replace target boards.
• Pick up trash on 50 and 100 yard ranges.
• Conduct an inventory of goods for sale to members.
• Perform administrative work for members (sales, firearms transfers, gate cards, product orders, etc.)
