Work Party #2, 2017

The second work party of 2017 was held on the morning of Saturday, 5/20/2017.  As usual, the tasks followed on the after-winter cleanup of the first work party in March.  It was a cloudy day, but the temperature was good, and no rain, so there was none of the usual slopping in the muck while trying to get the work done.  Lunch was provided by Tia Fraser, and consisted of multiple servings of soft tacos - taco meat, onions, cheese, lettuce, and salsa.

The following were the tasks performed:

• Raked wads around trap houses.
• Clean out and sweep trap houses; restock with birds.
• Pick up unbroken targets on the trap field.
• Adjust ground cloth on the shot berm that had been separated by wind.
• Clean and work on trap voice calls.
• Leaf and branch cleanup.
• Clean gutters on the clubhouse.
• Sweep gravel from paved areas.
• Repair potholes in driveway (at some point we need to consider repairing the asphalt).
• Fill sand bags for 50 and 100 yard ranges.
• Survey and repair target frames, replace target boards.
• Fix door hook on old port-a-potty.
• Adjust clubhouse WiFi to give more bandwidth to production PCs.
• Perform adminstrative work on the club database and web site, including backups.
• Perform administrative work for members (sales, gate cards, product orders, etc.)
