Work Party #7, 2015

We got a good day for the work party, and we had a bunch of people - members and Boy Scouts from Wilsonville Troop 194.  Participants had a dry day, and a lot of work got done.  Coffee and doughnuts were available at 7:45 AM, and lunch (from Ebner's), and beverages were available to participants at 12:10 PM.

The following are the tasks that were done:

• We cleaned up wads with the Billy Goat, and got our laughs watching Jack Starrett zooming around riding the chariot behind the vacuum.
• Cleaned and restocked the trap houses.
• Added another 150 feet of ground cloth over the new shot berm and stablized it with used tires from Millar's Hiway Tire store in Canby.
• Cut up and split more firewood.
• Blew downed leaves into major piles, and carried them off to the north side of the east 50 yard range.
• Cleaned the roof and gutters on the clubhouse.
• Spread gravel to fill the drain trench and parking area south of the clubhouse, and along the range road.

Wilsonville Boy Scout Troop 194, which was camping on the CRGC grounds from Friday night through Sunday noon, also helped with the work party, including the Scouts and the adult leadership:  John Budiao, Joshua Budiao, Caele Butterworth, Patrick Grundman, Christopher Harkena, Jeremiah Harkena, David Hoshaw, Hunter Hoshaw, Jason Paolo, Tyler Singrey, Markus Spickelmier, Parker Tolboe, Todd Tolboe, Jacob Whitehurst, James Wilkock, Isaac Vasquez, Juan Vasquez, and Taylor Vasquez.
