Work Party #3, 2015

Work party #3 of 2015 was yet again a well attended work party, with 38 members, family members, and Boy Scouts from Wilsonville Troop 194 present.  It was another pretty Spring day, with a cool morning warming to a very pleasant noon.  Coffee, doughnuts, lunch (from Ebner's), and beverages were available to participants at 12:20 PM.

More clean-up was the theme of this work party, along with some planning for projects for the next few work parties.  The following are the tasks that were done:

• Raked wads around trap houses.
• Cleaned and restocked the trap houses.
• Hooked up and tested new water and ice machine.
• Picked up lead shot on the ground cloth.
• Cut and split the last of the current stack of firewood.
• Cleaned up the archery range, added carpet to top of target bale.
• Cleaned up trash and repaired targets on the 100 yard range.
• Pruned the cottonwood trees along the driveway.
• Picked up branches and wood from the west side of the Molalla Forest Road at the north end.
• Blews leaves and crud from the clubhouse roof and gutters.
• Worked out the installation requirements and procedures for the electric gate actuator.
• Cleaned shotguns and handguns used for classes and competition.
