Trap Range Work Party

A work party announced at the last board meeting was held at the club today to get work done on the trap range before the Fall rain really starts.  There was a lot more manual labor involved in this work party than usual.  The following are the tasks that were done:

• Picked up shot from the ground cloth at trap #2.
• Two dead trees were hauled out from behind the trap berm and cut into firewood.
• Rearranged the ground cloth.  (This is not as easy as it might seem.)
• Telephone poles were moved onto the ground cloth to help hold it down.
• Joe Dula and L.C. Parshall hauled more oak firewood to the club.
• Chuck McClaugherty ran the D-8 bulldozer, working on the trap range and the new 75 yard range east of the 100 yard range.
• Picked up old tires from behind the trap berm.
