Work Party #4, 2010

The work party #4 usually is associated with regular facility maintenance, and range and trap maintenance.  There was a lot of work to be done this time, and we accomplished a lot as well.  Lunch was sandwiches from Fisher's Meats, soda, and adult beverages.  The work included:

• Mowed the park and the sides of the Molalla Forest Road.
• Sprayed weeds all over the property.
• Chopped down blackberries on top of the west 50 yard berm, and cleared grass on the ranges and on top of the 100 yard berm.
• Painted position lines on the trap pads.
• Painted red firing lines and yellow safety lines on the 50 and 100 yard ranges.
• Cleaned off the clubhouse roof, road, and parking area.
• Raked wads.
• Cleaned the traps, replaced burned-out lights, and performed trap machine maintenance.
• Cleaned bathrooms.
• Cleaned up the firewood storage area, and hauled in and stacked more firewood.
• Trenched from new well to pump house.
• Cut hole in concrete floor of pump house to connect new well to plumbing.

Extra thanks go to Bruce Hosford for bringing his ATV and spraying equipment, and to Dan Stevens for his backhoe and digging the trench..
