Work Party #1, 2008

Work party #1 kicked off with coffee and doughnuts (courtesy of Jim Burdett), but started on time at 8:00 AM this morning after we had the task allocation done.  Fortunately the weather wasn't bad, and the following tasks were completed:

• Finished planting 35 sequoia (giant redwood) trees, about 800 to 1,000 lbs each, along the north boundary of the trap fields.  The trees were donated by the Moana Nursery in Canby.
• Maintained trap machines, and voice call electronics.  Reset trap #2, and cleaned trap houses.
• Picked up trash on the 50 and 100 yard ranges.
• Split and stacked firewood under the shed roof on the east side of the clubhouse.
• Worked on final construction items for the shed roof.
• Burned fallen wood and trash.
• Updated the trap accounting spreadsheets, and corrected data entry problems.
