Work Party #1, 2005

Continuing the club's recent trend of holding work parties in the rain, the first work party of 2005 was held in today's wet but mild weather.  The weather didn't slow things down very much, as we accomplished quite a bit.  The coffee was ready in the clubhouse when we started at 8:00 AM this morning, and by quarter after eight, members were dispersed all over the club's grounds on various tasks.  The following is a list of the accomplishments today.

• Raked wads and swept trap pads.
• Cut grass on the 100 yard berm.
• Repaired target frames on the 100 yard range.
• Cleaned up brass and repaired target cables on the 50 yard ranges.
• Cleaned all six trap houses.
• Removed old trap lights and poles from the porch roof.
• Burned scrap lumber and limbs.
• Began installation of new electrical switches for trap lights and machines.
• Cleaned the first third of the game heads in the clubhouse.
• Cleaned the office in the clubhouse.
