Work Party #2, 2004
Monday, 10 May 2004
The second work party of the year was held on Saturday, May 8th. It was well attended and a lot of work was done, despite a heavy rainfall in mid-morning. The following tasks were accomplished:
- About two thirds of the remaining part of the roof was power washed.
- The target frames and sand bags for the 50 and 100 yard ranges were checked and replaced.
- Targets and trash were picked up on the 50 and 100 yard ranges.
- A safety barrel for unloading firearms was built for the clubhouse.
- Wads were raked from around the trap houses.
- The grass was cut on the 100 yard range berm, and around trap houses, and the horseshoe pits.
- About 4 cords of firewood were split and stacked. Tom Burdett and Dave Magnuson hauled more firewood in for the work party.
- The trap pads and walks were blown off.
- The door of the port-a-potty by the 100 yard range was fixed.
