The weather cooperated, and the rain held off, so we were able to get more accomplished than we planned. In addition, the members of this work party, after some initial direction, figured out themselves the additional things that needed to be done. The 50 yard ranges were cleaned up, and empty cartridge cases were raked and swept up. The archery area was cleaned up, and the bales were restacked, and the sand in the broadhead pit repiled. New warning signs were put up around the property, and the trap rules were posted. The bushes, shrubs, and porch lawns were weeded, and trash was picked up. Fallen branches and tree limbs were picked up and hauled to the burn pile. Trash was cleaned up on the porch, and shotgun hulls were picked up on all traps. Clay targets were loaded into the trap houses in preparation for the regular Tuesday night trap shooting. The trap houses were swept out, and broken targets were removed. The broken eyebolts holding the swings were replaced. The eavestroughs were cleaned out. Wooden posts were placed near the propane tank to protect the gas pipe. The grease trap in the kitchen was cleaned, and grease and oil were removed from the floor and equipment.
John Bee got things started, and the following members participated in the work party.
