Utah Concealed Carry Class at CRGC

Paul Meier is holding a training class for a Utah non-resident concealed carry permit.  The Utah permit information can be found at http://www.des.utah.gov/bci/concealedfirearms.html.  Utah has a formal reciprocity agreement with 17 states, and the Utah license is recognized in another 16 states.  Western states not covered include:  California, Hawaii, and Oregon.

The class will be held at the clubhouse on Saturday, 10 January 2009, from 1:00 PM through 5:00 PM.  The class fee is $70, but CGRC members will receive a discount upon presentation of their 2008 or 2009 membership card.

To get your Utah concealed carry permit after the class, you must send an application to:

Your application must also have with it:

• A photocopy of your driver's license.
• One recent color photograph of passport quality.
• One fingerprint card, completely filled out.
• Weapon familiarity certification, which you will receive as a result of the class.
• Payment of $65.25 for the application and permit processing, and the FBI for fingerprint processing.
