Trap Chairman Dan Stevens has enrolled CRGC in the Tualatin Valley Trap League (TVTL). (Years ago, CRGC was one of the founding clubs in the league.) The teams travel to each club in the league in turn to shoot. The rules for the TVTL can be found here.
The TVTL will start on December 4th, 2009, and run through February 26, 2010 on Friday nights. League shooting is open to any Canby Rod and Gun Club member. The shooting will be done under lights and will start as soon as it is dark enough to shoot. Last sign up to shoot is at 9:00 PM.
Shooting is standard trap and will be shot "cold gun" (no practicing allowed). It will be handicapped by your last TVTL score shot, starting on the 22 yard line and going to no less than the 18 yard line. The team can have as many shooters as show up and the best 5 scores will be counted for the night´s payout. The cost is $5.00 per shooter with a portion going to the nightly jack pot, which will be split 30%, 25%, 20%, 15%, and 10%, between the clubs.
