The second SASS shoot of 2006 was held today at CRGC. There were 39 shooters there, including about a dozen women. The total is up from the 31 people who participated in the first shoot. There were also several CRGC members who stopped by to watch the proceedings. The shoot was well organized and conducted with safety a primary concern. It was a fine day for shooting, and the friendly people just made it more fun to watch. It would still be nice to find out why each shooter on the west range started out by asking "Which way did he go, George?" before the first shot was fired.
The next shoot will be on Saturday, 30 September 2006, and there will be a fourth shoot before the end of the year.
