Refuse To Be A Victim Training

Saturday, 26 October 2002

Dan Sweet, of the Portland Firearms Training Team, presented the NRA's Refuse To Be A Victim (RTBAV) class to 21 women at the clubhouse. This training was a follow-on for those people who were unable to attend the previous session. While the course, which lasts about 4 hours, is primarily intended for women, it is appropriate for men and teenagers as well. It presents interesting and useful ideas for people to avoid situations in which they may be forced to defend themselves. Further RTBAV and firearms training classes will be scheduled in the Spring of 2003. Keep an eye on the web site, or check the club newsletter for more information as it becomes available.
