2006 Annual Picnic and Shoot Format

At the board meeting tonight, the board discussed the attendance at the annual picnic, and the amount of effort required to put on a weekend of activities for the annual picnic and club shooting competition.  The consensus of the meeting was to return to the old one day format, but organize the shooting activities so that all shooting would be done by 11:30 AM.  There would need to be better scheduling of the shooting events, and some more volunteers would be needed to get the shooting done in the morning.  We could then have people arrive for the picnic and children's games on or after 11:30 AM, and serve lunch around 1:00 PM.  If any members have suggestions or opinions regarding the format of the picnic or the shooting events, please speak with any board member or send us an e-mail.
