There are two special meetings of the members that are planned for the next two months, and the notice for both meetings should be mailed this week. The first meeting, on Monday, 6/16/2014, deals with a proposal to purchase the property that includes the club's premises. The second meeting, on Saturday, 7/19/2014, deals with proposed changes to the club bylaws to allow electronic notices, electronic meetings, a basic member fee, and several other changes.
The meeting notice and the proposed bylaws are both available in the My Member Options menu of the web site. Access to this part of the web site requires a logon ID and password, which can be obtained by sending an e-mail to crgc@canby.com.
