Joe Dula, new CRGC member and manager of Moana Nursery in Barlow, has volunteered to be the club's Environmental Stewardship Chairman. The ESP committee is essential to the club's continued existence, and is an important part of the club's relationship to the Canby community. The ESP committee is responsible for implementing the club's ESP plan, which includes monitoring ground pH levels, sound level measurements, plantings around the club for noise reduction and improving the club's park and grounds, use of herbicides, monitoring the wetlands on the club grounds, ensuring that the club complies with environmental law and regulation, and similar activities.
