Memorial and Trap Shoot
A memorial for CRGC member Dave Thompson, who died on 24 September 2005, was held at the clubhouse on Saturday, 8 October 2005. Approximately 100 people were there to remember his life.
In addition, because of Dave's life-long interest in trap shooting, several members suggested holding a shoot in his memory that same day. They did so, and approximately 40 shooters participated in the money games. The shooters and CRGC donated cash from the games to charity and for a plaque for the CRGC clubhouse. Dan Stevens, CRGC's trap chairman, is planning on making this memorial trap shoot an annual event on the second Saturday of October each year.
