Annual Membership Meeting 2009

The annual membership meeting was held at the clubhouse on the evening of Saturday, 17 January 2009.  There were 235 door prize tickets handed out, and 9 more people arrived after the prizes were awarded, for a total of 244 attendees, making this the largest meeting in the history of the club.  It was also one of the best meetings we have ever had in terms of a smooth operation, a good meeting, lots of very good prizes, and an excellent meal.

The agenda included a moment of silence for deceased members, reports of the officers and committee chairmen, and elections of new officers.  The new officers are:

The only new business brought up at the meeting was a motion to begin the next annual meeting an hour earlier.  The motion passed on a voice vote, with only two dissenting.  The 2010 meeting will have the doors open at 5:00 PM, and the membership meeting will start at 6:00 PM.

Each year Millar's Hiway Tire (Steve Millar and Ken Pellett), and Adrian Fisher each donate a rifle for a raffle, the proceeds of which are used for CRGC's junior shooter programs.  The winners of the rifle raffles were:

The set-up crew included:  Hugh Boyle, Jim Burdett, Dennis Kenagy, John Lane, Richard Phaneuf, Glen Watson, and Jack Weaver.  The cash counters were:  Rod Beck, Dennis Berreth, Adrian Hamilton, John Lane, Richard Phaneuf, and Glen Watson.  The kitchen crew included:  Hugh Boyle, Jim Burdett, Gordon Jeskey, Dennis Kenagy, Sam Kriegshauser, Brent Schaefer, Nick Sorenson, and Homes Tupper.  The raffle tables were manned by:  Dwight Bond, Bob Hogan (door prize tickets), Brad Kubik, Ken Kubik, Darrell Nicholson, and David Scott.  The clean-up crew included:  Hugh Boyle, Jim Burdett, and Gordon Jeskey.
