2021 NRA Basic Pistol Class Dates

Below are the dates for all of the NRA Basic Pistol Classes for 2021.  These classes are taught by NRA certified instructors working with the CRGC Educational Foundation, Inc. (CEFI).

Class fee is $50 per person and if a student needs to use a CEFI handgun, then there's a flat $10 cleaning fee, plus the cost of ammunition.
Each student will need about 100-150 rounds of ammunition.  Ammunition is sometimes available from CRGC, with a cost of $15-$18 per box of 50 depending on caliber. Ammunition prices and availability are subject to change with no notice

The general time line for the class is:
8:45AM - Doors open. Coffee and doughnuts will be waiting.
9AM - Class start. This can be postponed a bit if we know a student is coming.
    Morning session will be all lecture covering the NRA's 3 safety rules, different types of handguns, pieces & parts of a handgun, ammuntion & components of it, stance and grip, 5 fundamentals of shooting, eye dominance, among other things
12PM-ish - Start 1 hour of lunch
1PM-ish - Restart lecture
    Touch on loading & unloading of handguns, NRA's 3 safety rules, Q&A, then range safety brief.
2:30PM-ish - Range time
4PM-ish - Return to classroom
    Touch on cleaning & maintenance of handguns, follow on NRA training opportunities, factors in selecting a pistol, and final exam
6PM-ish - Hand out certificates
